[Very short class period: combined assembly with PUCE and Foothills] The Cricket on the Hearth, Dickens. Text format:

  • Save the file of your section (see below) to your computer. Always save the file in .doc (Word doc) format.
  • Fonts: Use Arial 12 for the text of the story. Use Times New Roman 10 for the captions and definitions in text boxes.
  • Do not use borders for the text boxes.
  • Be sure to include sources for all material that is not your own invention.
  • Use 1 1/4 inch margins all around. (You may have to adjust the top and bottom margins. The side margins are probably at 1 1/4 by default.)
  • Do not add page numbers. (We'll do that when we combine all of the files into one document.)
  • If you think of other formatting issues we need to resolve as a group, be sure to mention them in class for discussion.
