you need. Goal: write an eight-word sentence incorporating all of
the parts of speech on your cards.)
Hmwk: Add three more "free" parts of speech to
the eight you collected in class. Create a total of five eight-word
sentences using the parts of speech on your cards. (Three will not
be used in each sentence.) |

parts of speech and the second list on the board: proper noun,
action verb, helping verb, linking verb, object
of preposition, indefinite pronoun, adjective after
a linking verb, adverb modifying an adj or adv, correlative
conjunction). |
