Is . . . ," p. 52. Read instructions carefully. Write out your ending, proofread
and revise to make your story meet the requirements listed in the assignment description,
and then send it in an e-mail message to teacher (due by Fri., Sept. 10--even
though we have no class next week). Those without access to e-mail can hand write
or word process the assignment and hand it to the teacher by Fri. |

of class. Hmwk: Write a news report about the last time the narrator's mother
saved her life (from the burning house). Use the 5 W's & H to start the newspaper
article. Due Mon. Print out your grades in RENweb, have your parent/guardian sign
the paper, and put it in the "Assignments" section of your notebook.

out 10 common nouns. Write them on notebook paper and demonstrate that they pass
the noun tests. Complete Ex. 1, 2 & 3, p. 343 during class. Read pp. 346 &
347. Hmwk: Write 10 sentences about you and your friends. (Leave at least one
space between each sentence.) Underline one noun in each sentence and write above
it a pronoun that could be used to replace it. Due: Wed. |
