Questions to consider: Who do your trust to make book/movie decisions for you? Who do you want to make book/movie decisions for you?
Hmwk: Finish reading "The Students' Right to Read" from the NCTE website.

WedReading and discussion on making wise book/movie decisions. How many challenged books have you read? Do you agree that the books should be challenged? Why/why not? Read: "Look Out, Harry Potter! -- Book Banning Heats Up." Questions to consider: How do you make good book and movie decisions? What are your decision criteria? Who protects you from objectionable books? Do you have an obligation to protect others from books that you think are objectionable? Why? Why not?
