It was in 1956 that I came to PUC to start college as a freshman. After graduation, in 1961, I taught at Napa Junior Academy for five years before coming to PUC to teach for the Biology Department in 1966. My masters degree from PUC in biology, was completed in 1967. In 1976 I completed my Ph.D. degree in Taxonomic Botany from the University of California at Davis.
Betty, my wife, teaches in the Education Department and is director of Discoveryland Preschool. I have two children, Andy, an Engineer at Boeing in Seattle, and Jenny a Dental Hygienest turned mother living with Erik her husband who is a construction contractor living in Novato. Jenny has two children, Max and Bea.
There are many things that I enjoy, however it is plants, photography and computers that interest me the most.
