Distritution: Only one plant known on the Stanley Ranch near the Southern Crossing of the Napa River

Plant Communities:  Ruderal

Habitats:  Dry, sunny, grassy fields; in an alluvial formation

Elevation:  10'

Comments:  Collection needed.  This taxon retained to indicate dwarf form of B. p. ssp. consanguinea.  Propagation; stays dwarf

Habitats:  Dry, sunny, grassy or forested or wooded or brushy slopes/canyons,/swales/streamsides/riverbanks; & disturbed places like roadsides & ditches; in most geologic formations (excepting serpentine?)

Elevations:  10-2600'

Comments:  Intergrades with B. p.
