About Me:  I am a professor of Biology with a Ph.D. in Botany from Washington State University and an M.S. and B.S. in Biology from Walla Walla College.  My specialty is molecular plant systematics and genetics. My wife (Judy) and I have two children:  Reuben, 23 (who just graduated from WWC in Automotive Technology) and Tara, 28 (who is in the Nursing Program at WWC).  I enjoy the outdoors including such hobbies as birding, fishing, tidepooling, hiking, and backpacking.  I also enjoy music, writing poetry, stamp collecting, acting, computers, tarantulas, and cows (yes, cows).
